Theresa Maigue Bendorf

Theresa Maigue Bendorf is a seasoned professional with 25+ years of experience. An accomplished dancer, dance educator, choreographer, director, producer and trusted Realtor who’s experience ranges from owning and operating the successful Mystic Stepper School of Dance and production studio, Dance Educator at Chula Vista School for the Creative & Performing Arts, producing highly grossing, award winning shows and full park events for Sea World Entertainment, to helping families navigate the ever-changing real estate market as a trusted Realtor. From teaching her youngest students to mentoring teens getting into college and navigating their professional careers, Theresa’s passion for coaching young artists is unwavering. Some of Theresa’s notable honors, projects and clients are IAAPA Brass Ring Nominee- Best Theatrical Production “IllumiNight”, Commissioned Choreographer for 25th Anniversary SD County “A Salute to Teachers”, Choreographer for NATAS PSW Emmy Award Winning Production, Tym Telford Award for Best Choreography, Produced the full park event “Inside Look” for all 3 Sea World Parks, US Events for Philippine Ambassador- Jose Lampe Cuisia, Amusement Park Today, NFL Draft, Audacy, Reality Changers, COX SD, Rescue Agency, Miss Philippines Pageant, Association of Zoos & Aquariums, International Marine Animal Trainer’s Association, Assembly Member District 80 and most recently the Choreographer for Kagitingan,  Blindspot Collective’s sold out debut at the Museum Contemporary Art, San Diego. Theresa was very honored to choreograph for JT’s 75th Anniversary Gala honoring amazing JT alumni including her sister, Francine Maigue, who directed and choreographed JT’s successful run of Disney’s Moana Jr. Theresa was a proud parent watching her girls in the show and now looks forward to choreographing Disney’s Finding Nemo Jr. later this season.
